Our Green Schools Committee, Ms Arthurs and Mr O’Boyle’s class had a fantastic morning celebrating Climate Action Week today. We started by planting two trees, an oak and a birch tree and we had lots of help doing this! After that, everyone got stuck into doing a big clean up of our school grounds. All kinds of things were found!
We also ran an art competition to celebrate Climate Action Week. Winners will be announced at assembly next Friday. The standard of the art work is excellent as always, and we will display the entries in our reception area next week. Well done everybody, especially to Mrs Arthurs, Mr O’Boyle, Mr Feehan and of course our Green Schools Committee!
