Science Fun.
Pupils in 3rd class have been learning about eating healthily. Eating well allows us to have healthy teeth. We are assessing the effects certain liquids have on egg shells. As part of learning about the tooth we are looking at how everyday liquids effect our teeth. The egg shells represent the enamel on our teeth. Pupils have placed vinegar, cola, ribena orange and water in plastic cups. Pupils worked in groups. Over the next week we will examine the effects these liquids have had on the egg shells. We will come back in a week to show you what happened and which liquids had the strongest effect on the eggshells. Can you guess? Vinegar, Water, Cola or Ribena orange?
