Peru

Last Friday, the day of the talent show, my daughter-in-law,  who is from Peru, visited the class. She had prepared a very interesting talk for them about life in her country and how many, many people there really have to eke out a living. She spoke about the inequality in society and told them that many children aged 8 and 9, have to work as soon as school is finished. She also told them about her impressions of life in Ireland and spoke a little Spanish with them. They were quite fascinated by her story.
