4th Green Flag

St. Helen's SNS have been awarded their fourth green flag for travel. The school received this flag for engaging in an environmentally friendly programme of promoting "Green Travel" to and from school. Pupils engaged in many activities over this two year programme including art competitions, Walking weeks and WOW days. 

Wow days start again this term and we are encouraging pupils to try and walk to school each Wednesday or travel to school in a green way. Pupils can park n' stride also in order to try and reduce emissions in the school environment. 

We are really excited about starting our next green flag programme on Biodiversity. Plants, animals and gardening here we come. 🎉
